Love Yourself!

At Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping, our goal is to help you live a healthy lifestyle. Attending kickboxing and strength training classes and following your nutrition plan is essential to seeing the results you want, but you also need to have the right mindset.

We are our worst critics. As much as we try not to, we analyze our bodies, compare them to others and are constantly bombarded by images in the media with unrealistic body “ideals”.

At Farrell’s, it’s extremely important for us to incorporate you, our real members, into our Farrell’s story. From our inspirational stories to our personalized marketing initiatives, we strive to show how our actual members come in every shape and size.
It’s important to remember every person’s body is different. You can’t decide how your body is going adjust to the new you, where you’ll lose inches or where muscle will build first, but you can decide to love your body, make it to bootcamp and continue making positive changes. Eventually, through commitment and determination, your body (and your mind) will be what you want it to be. We’ve seen it over and over again!

Set your mind to start loving your body with these helpful tips:

  • Stop looking at the scale. Your mood, energy, the way clothes feel fxb centand your overall attitude is what you need to gauge yourself on, not the number on the scale. How you feel is more important than how you look.
  • Stop judging yourself. Instead of judging yourself or your body, look at all the positives in your life. What have you accomplished? How have the fitness classes and community helped you get stronger? What is your body capable of today and what will it be capable of in a few weeks?
  • Enjoy every step. Don’t wait until you’ve reached your goal to enjoy your body. You’re going to be able to do new things each week. Enjoy these new adventures and remember that it’s your health and body allowing you to do those things!
  • Don’t abuse your body. Your body is your vessel to doing things. If something goes wrong, don’t abuse it. Don’t starve it. Don’t overfeed it. Don’t shame it. Instead, sit down and think about what may have gone wrong and what adjustments can be made to avoid it from happening again in the future.
  • Don’t let others feed your judgment. It can be difficult, but don’t let others affect your outlook on yourself. Many times, we feed into what we think others think of us whether it be from a comment or glance. Only you can control how you or someone else can make you feel. You are strong, and you must believe in yourself!

All of the coaches, instructors, and other members not only want you to live a healthy lifestyle, we want you to enjoy the process and feel your best. By attending our bootcamp style classes and participating in group fitness, you are choosing to surround yourself with people having similar healthy goals...goals to be your best you!
